Gotta love drunk idiots. They are so entertaining.

Scene: Arrowhead Stadium, evening. First pre-season game and the game is in the 2nd quarter. I'm sitting in the upper level. It has been raining off and on the entire game so some of the area around me is empty.

During the second quarter, something catches my eye a few rows down from me. There are a gaggle of college aged kids, about ten or so of them. And they were all drunk, or stupid, or both. This comes into play later.

Standing over them is a tall older guy talking to them very directly. He is leaning over them and getting into their faces. He wasn't yelling, but he was definately trying to get his point across. What made him stand out was that he was wearing a Oakland Raider's jersey. Well, that's not usually a good idea, and this was proof of that.

I don't know what started the whole thing, but from what I was able to piece together, I believe that some of the drunk kids were throwing things at the guy in the Raider's jersey, who was sitting a few rows below them. Now he was also drunk, or stupid, or both, and thought he needed to confront these people and show them the errors of their ways.

At first, it looked like everyone was having a good laugh. He was talking to them very directly, but with a smile on his face. A few of the college kids, the ones not near the guy, were all laughing and just trying to ignore him. But the Raider dude wouldn't let it rest.

He said something too much and one of the girls jumped up in his face, screaming at him. He stood his ground and continued to smile. She was being restrained by some of her friends and then it was apparent that this wasn't funny anymore and this girl just threw down the gauntlet and this was going to esculate.

As she was screaming at the guy, she swung at him and knocked the Raider's visor off his head. He smiled, then grabbed the girl by the throat with one hand, and drew his other hand back to punch her. Then it was on.

Everyone jumped the guy. They grabbed him before he swung and since he had his back to the field, they all fell a few rows down and punches were thrown. From that point, I couldn't see what all was going on in the scrum.

The girl who swung first was being taking up the stairs and restrained by her man. She was jumping all over trying to get a piece of the Raider.

A few minutes later, and after they had to be found, the crack Arrowhead security was there and had the people seperated and trying to figure out what happened. What end up happening was the Raider dude recieved a nice new pair of handcuffs and was escorted out of the area. And the college kids were all waving at him and high-fiving each other.

Ok. Now my comments..... First off, what the hell was he doing wearing a Raider jersey at Arrowhead? We weren't even playing the Raiders! Secondly, if you wear a Raider jersey at Arrowhead, you are going to get messed with. The same thing would happen if you wore a Chiefs jersey in Oakland. To show up and not expect crap, you are stupid, or drunk, or both, or just looking for a fight.

Next, the kids brought it on. They were rude little punks. Just watch the game. Why did you have to mess with him. Again, the stupid, drunk, or looking for a fight scenario.

And it was sure brave and smart of the girl to throw the first punch actually. She was relatively safe. She was there with her man, and friends. In a fight, she would throw the first punch, then everyone would react before she'd get into trouble. She'd get hit once, maybe. So it was a calculated risk. And being drunk, doubt she even thought it through that much.

Lastly, they kids were in a pack mentality. Did the Raider think he was that much of a bad-ass that he could take on 10+ kids that were probably half his age? Dumbass.

In conclusion, the Chiefs lost and that fight is what I'll remember most from that game. You have to love drunks and idiots. They provide some good entertainment.
